Cooper-Standard Automotive Appoints Hodson Vice President, Operations, North American Fluid Systems

Graeme HodsonNovi, Mich., March 06, 2008 - Cooper-Standard Automotive has appointed Graeme R. Hodson to vice president, operations, North American Fluid Systems. He will be located at the company's facility in Auburn Hills, Mich., reporting to Mike Verwilst, president of Global Fluid Systems.

Most recently, Hodson held the position of director - Operations, U.S. & Canada, for the Global Fluid Systems Division. Prior to joining Cooper-Standard Automotive, Hodson spent 19 years with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. where he held several management positions in operations including plant manager, manager - Six Sigma & Operations, production manager, and business center manager.

"I am confident that Graeme will continue to provide strong manufacturing leadership to the Fluid Systems business in North America. He is an experienced manufacturing executive who understands what it takes to be successful in today's difficult automotive environment," said Mike Verwilst.

Hodson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio, as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla.
