Cooper-Standard Automotive Appoints Vaidyanathan Director, Global Engineering
for Fluid Systems Division
Novi, Mich., June 3, 2008 - Cooper-Standard Automotive has appointed Kumar Vaidyanathan as director, Global Engineering, Fluid Systems Division reporting to Lee Turner, vice president, Global Sales and Engineering. Vaidyanathan will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the global engineering team to support the company’s long-term product growth strategy.
Vaidyanathan most recently held the position of vice president, Technical Operations for KS
Gleitlager-USA. Previously, he spent 10 years with Federal Mogul Corporation and held the positions of director of technology, manager and chief engineer, as well as manager and senior technical analyst.
Vaidyanathan earned a doctorate and master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toledo in Ohio and his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University in India.
