Cooper-Standard Automotive Appoints Young Director, IT Shared Services

Novi, Mich., July 31, 2007 - Cooper-Standard Automotive has appointed W. Edward Young to director, IT shared services. In his new role, Young will be working to ensure implementation of Sarbanes Oxley requirements and standardization of the global infrastructure. He will be located at the Auburn, Ind., facility and will report to Brian O'Loughlin, vice president, information technology.

Most recently, Young held the position of director, global computing & collaboration for Johnson & Johnson where he was responsible for the establishment of the enterprise technical architecture for computing and software as well as the development of technical standards. In earlier assignments with Johnson & Johnson, he was responsible for global e-business and network development.

Young earned his Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, and his Executive MBA from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. Additionally, he is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and Certified Internal Auditor.
