Compounds
Metzeler Technical Rubber Systems manufactures compounds from all common polymers on 3 so-called mixing lines. Production is according to a formula from the customer. Alternatively, rubber compounds are developed according to specific customer requirements, together with our highly qualified staff.
Currently the main consumers are suppliers for the automotive industry, who produce high quality sealing and tubing systems amongst other items.
Other customers of Metzeler Technical Rubber Systems include suppliers to the electrical industry, particularly for dishwashers and washing machines, as well as producers of sealing systems for windows and facades.
Metzeler Tyres, a Pirelli Deutschland GmbH company, obtains a significant part of its requirement for high performance compounds from our production.
Metzeler Technical Rubber Systems currently supplies rubber compounds all over Europe in many different forms - according to more than 250 different formulae - to partners who have been satisfied customers for many years. |

Sheeting
Our strength is highly specialised products for every conceivable purpose. We can find a solution to fit every application from our wide product range. Experienced developers, a dedicated production team and extensive mechanical equipment enable us to find a perfect solution to almost any requirement.
More than 150 customers in the area of technical trade and punches meet their requirements by means of highly qualified sheeting from Metzeler Technical Rubber Systems.
Metzeler Technical Rubber Systems stores a wide range of products for this customer base. Every variation within a hardness range from 25 ° Shore A to 90 ° Shore A, and a material thickness from a minimum 0,5 mm to a maximum 30,0 mm can be made. Silicone sheets in different colours and hardnesses are also available from our warehouse. Certifications for KTW, VDE, Miele, Bosch, Daimler Chrysler, VW and GM attest to the high standard of quality of our products, which is documented and tested in laboratories, in parallel to production. |

Special Applications
Metzeler Technical Rubber Systems supplies semi-finished products for use in the pharmaceutical industry, for example allergen-free materials for bottle and ampoule tops. We also supply non-reinforced sheets for building constructions, as well as semi-finished products for use in patented, self-sealing wall lead-through systems. Our customers distribute special silicone membranes for furniture and solar cell production, as well as for the production of parts in the interior fitting of aircraft under the trade name of LAMIBRAN ®. Our range also includes lining sheets for drinking water tanks or containers and apparatus for corrosive materials.
As a partner of 3M Europe, we also provide our rubber know-how for innovative products in the area of traffic control materials. |

Metzeler Aviation Flooring System
AIRFLOOR®, AIRFLEX® and FLOORSIL® represent high-tech products and market leadership in this area.
Our NTF surfaces (Non Textile Floor Covering) for the entrance, galley, lavatory and cockpit areas as well as for baggage areas in regional aircraft combine low weight, high abrasion resistance, panel protection and non-slip properties with important passenger requirements, such as being self-extinguishing and non-poisonous in the case of fire.
All products meet the highest quality requirements of Airbus, Fokker, Fairchild Dornier and Bombardier and are installed as BFE material in Boeing and Embraer at the customer's request.
Our international customers include renowned airlines such as British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Japanese Aircraft Systems, US Airways, Jet Blue and many other smaller airlines.
We are currently carrying out in-flight tests with Lufthansa, Air France and Cathay Pacific.
We are a development partner for the new double-decker large volume A 380 aircraft from Airbus and for the new Boeing 7E7 aircraft generation. |
