Conventional / Hydraulic Mounts

The fluid inside a hydraulic mount inertia track is tuned to work as an absorber to reduce travel and vibration. Our portfolio of hydraulic mounts and bushings products are dynamically tuned to unique vehicle specifications to ensure optimal system integration.

Bi-State Switchable Hydraulic Mounts

A reactive system technology that more accurately respond to a variety of road conditions. These mounts are designed to decrease engine noise and vibration, as well as damping to smooth road shake, which results in improved overall occupant ride comfort. Currently in production and available in either vacuum or electrically actuated switching mechanisms.

Multi-State Vacuum Switchable Hydraulic Mounts (patented)

The ultimate performance in switchable mounts. The multi-state inertia track and switching technology allows the mount to respond to different vehicle conditions by using signals controlled by the engine control unit. Specifically, the technology addresses:

  1. Improved idle noise and vibration isolation;
  2. Enhanced damping to minimize smooth road shake; and
  3. Improved powertrain control under vehicle launch conditions.

This solution is currently in production and provides weight and cost savings to more conventional mitigation strategies.

DynaFib

DynaFib is a strategic effort to develop a process-enabled composite part design. Cooper Standard is targeting a 50% weight reduction versus metal-based anti-vibration systems solutions with DynaFib.

Conventional / Hydraulic Body and Cradle Mounts

A variety of body and cradle mount designs, shear and compression styles, both with and without rate plates. Bodymounts utilize butyl or high damped natural rubber to damp body and frame modes to improve driver experience. Cradle mounts are fabricated with natural rubber for improved heat resistance and durability. All Cooper Standard systems are designed to meet optimal isolation and damping characteristics, while surpassing vehicle durability targets.

Mass Dampers

Manufactured in various shapes and styles, and dynamically tuned and tested to meet customer specifications.

Dual Durometer (Bi-compound) Bushings

With the ability to mold two different compounds within the same bushing, these products satisfy a wider range of performance targets by providing different vehicle responses in two different directions.
